A bstract A graphical method is presented for construction of trajectories and wave‐front diagrams for any velocity distribution. The analytical solution is given for the case when the time‐depth curve shows a flexure, that is, when the the velocity increases down to a certain depth and, after reaching a maximum, begins to decrease. A numerical example is considered for the computation of a trajectory.
