Specific scope This standard describes the conduct of trials for the efficacy evaluation of desiccants on seed potatoes for rapid desiccation of the haulms without damaging the tubers. Haulm destruction is essential for seed potato production and may also be used for other potatoes (although not generally for early potatoes).
