The presence of Plum pox virus (PPV) in woody hosts other than in fruit and ornamental Prunus species was evaluated. PPV symptoms, and their variability and intensity, are described in leaves and fruits of Prunus cerasifera , Prunus spinosa , Ligustrum vulgare and Euonymus europaea . Juglans regia is not confirmed as a new host of PPV.
