By successive generations of exposure to Ripcord (cypermethrin) at concentrations ensuring about 50% mortality, a cypermethrin‐resistant strain of Amblyseius barkeri has been selected, with a resistance factor of 73. The strain showed cross resistance to other pyrethroids.
