Best results in Frankliniella occidentulis control on gerbera, with very good long‐term effects, were obtained only with the following plant protection products: Tamaron LC 600 (0.1 %) among organophosphorus compounds, Marshal 25 EC (0.15%) and Mesurol 500 FS (0.1%) among carbamates, Baythroid 0.35 SC (0.05%) and Rufast 15 EC (0.1%) among pyrethroids, Applaud 25 WP (0.05%), Cascade 5 EC (0.3%), GR‐572 10 EC (0.1 and 0.25%) and Konfidor 200 EC (0.08%) among insect growth regulators.
