A large number of insect species cause extensive injury to cereals, especially to wheat crops in the field in Turkey. Pentatomoid species are by far the most important of these. This paper is therefore devoted to a review of the pentatomoid pests which are encountered in wheat fields. A total of 25 species ( Aelia species excluded) are treated in this paper. Information is given for each species about pest status, host plants and principal research work, if any.
