SUMMARY The Ig class and light chain type of LATS has been examined. Serum samples containing high levels of LATS were assayed before and after incubation with specific antisera to IgG, IgA and IgM, and kappa and lambda light chains. It was found that LATS activity was restricted to the IgG class of immunoglobulins and that the LATS activity was distributed approximately equally between the kappa and lambda type of IgG. These results are consistent with a polyclonal origin for LATS.
