Summary Four patients with lichen nitidus who presented with palmoplantar or nail lesions arc reported. In three cases palmoplantar hyperkeratosis was marked; these cases also had nail‐plate lesions, but in all four, lesions of lichen nitidus at other sites were absent, sparse or asymptomatic.
