Summary Tufted angioma is a rare slowly progressive vascular lesion found typically in children and young adults. Cases appear sporadically and clinically have been confused with low grade angiosarcoma, Kaposi's sarcoma, and multiple glomus tumours. We report a case of a patient with tufted angioma in whom a strong family history of similar lesions is apparent, transmitted in an autosomal‐dominant mode of inheritance.
