Summary A 36‐year‐old woman developed painful, erythematous nodules on her leg which resolved leaving annular atrophy around both ankles extending to mid‐calf level. Biopsy has shown tabular panniculitis. Jablonska 2 has described three cases of lipoatrophy of the ankles and histology in one was very similar to that seen in this case. This is, therefore, another case of this unusual condition.
