Summary Localized hyperhidrosis seldom occurs at sites other than the palms, soles and forehead. However, localized hyperhidrosis can occur at other sites in the rare eccrine naevus which is characterized by hypertrophy and hyperplasia of sweat and/or sebaceous glands. A case of an unusual sudoriferous hamartoma is described in which circumscribed hyperhidrosis was a prominent feature.
