Summary We report a patient with pemphigus foliaceus who responded to adjuvant treatment with sodium aurothiomalate (myocrisin) within 3 months of commencement of therapy. This case serves as a reminder that gold is useful as a steroid‐sparing agent in the treatment of pemphigus.
