Summary Branhamella catarrhalis is usually regarded as a non‐pathogenic commensal of the upper respiratory tract. However, in The last few years, several reports have appeared describing the organism as a potential pathogen. 1–3 We describe a patient who developed a leg ulcer from which Branhamella catarrhalis was repeatedly isolated and suggest that it may have played a role in the exacerbation of the disease.
