Summary A Corn (Clavus) is a hyperkeratotic response to friction or pressure, usually present over bony prominences of the foot, occasionally of the fingers. Corns cause exquisite pain due to pressure on nerve endings and can become infected with subsequent cellulitis (Wilkinson, 1979). Conventional treatments for corns include removal of the cause where possible, topical applications of keratolytic agents and surgical excision or enucleation. I wish to report here a new treatment for corns which I tried on myself and found to be dramatically effective.
