Summary A case of the hyperkeratotic form of porokeratosis (Mibelli) is described. It had previously‐masqueraded as ‘mossy psoriasis’ and had been treated as such. It was associated with pitting of all the finger nails. The condition had partially responded to photochemotherapy and topical 5‐fluorouracil but there was dramatic improvement following treatment with the oral aromatic retinoid, etretinate.
