Summary Although pyoderma gangrenosum and leucocytoclastic vasculitis are both well‐recognised complications of rheumatoid arthritis, there have been surprisingly few reports of the two disorders occurring together. We have recently investigated two patients with this association and have demonstrated deposits of IgM, IgA, C 3 and fibrinogen in the blood vessel walls of what were clinically typical pyoderma gangrenosum‐like lesions.
