Summary A schoolboy's simple acne converted within i month to an extensive cystic scarring (grade IV) type, which then became infected with E, coli. Within a few weeks, many of the inflamed papules had erupted into a crop of pyogenic granuloma‐like lesions. Cryotherapy failed. They all resolved spontaneously.
