Summary Forty patients with generalized inflammatory skin diseases were examined for the presence of Sézary cells in the peripheral blood. Sézary cells were not found in any patient. During the course of the study, two additional patients with erythroderma were seen: one had large cell variant Sézary syndrome and one had small cell Sézary syndrome. Details of these two patients are included for comparison.
