Mrs KS, a 46-year-old Greek Cypriot resident in England, had observed firmness over her right upper chest area for as long as she could remember. The patient stated that the abnormal area had never changed size except for proportionate childhood growth. Aged 18 years, during her first pregnancy, she noted the appearance in the indurated area, of one nodule, which regressed completely some months later. Thereafter further single nodules appeared every few months, disappearing completely after a similar time. Aged 36, she gradually developed about 20 persistent nodules, which slowly diminished over 4 years preceding her presentation for an unrelated condition.
