Summary A case of hereditary sensory neuropathy is reported and the condition is briefly discussed. Hereditary sensory neuropathy is an uncommon neurological disorder characterized by loss of pain and temperature sensation in the extremities. Neurotrophic complications are frequent and nerve deafness is an associated feature.
