Summary The immune tolerance network (ITN) plans to capitalize on the current state of understanding of immunologic science to solicit, design and implement human trails designed to ‘cure’ allergic diseases. While the ITN can bring tremendous resources to bear, it is actively looking for the participation of innovative physician–scientists worldwide in order to optimize the changes of success and thereby have a major impact on the future treatment of allergic diseases.
