Summary The effectiveness of prophylactic treatment with ketotifen was assessed in ten asthmatic patients with aspirin idiosyncrasy in a randomized double blind trial. Increased airways obstruction following challenge with aspirin was significantly reduced when patients were pre‐treated with ketotifen.
