Summary Children and adolescents with spina bifida present with a number of characteristics that affect functional performance and developmental skills. The focus of this paper will be to share information about spina bifida and the overall approach to care within the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital Spina Bifida Clinic and, more specifically, the role of the occupational therapist.
