S ummary . The arrangement of the T‐cell receptor and immunoglobulin genes has been analysed in five cases of Lennert's lymphoma. All cases showed rearrangement of the gene coding for the β chain of the T‐cell receptor and a germline configuration of the immunoglobulin genes. This provides strong evidence that Lennert's lymphoma is a T‐cell lymphoma.
