S ummary . A new technique for simultaneously measuring phagocytosis‐stimulated glucose oxidation and bactericidal activity in granulocytes is presented. This procedure provides a simple means for rapidly determining phagocytosis‐stimulated glucose oxidation and allows for correlation of that variable with bactericidal activity on a single blood sample.
