S ummary . In a survey of 6000 human muscle samples, four myoglobin variants were discovered by electrophoresis. One has been previously described and this paper gives an account of the second one, which is of particular interest because it may be the same as Myoglobin Annapolis, described by Boyer, Fainer & Naughton in 1963, which at that time could not be completely characterized.
