S ummary . An in‐vitro test of drug sensitivity has been performed on leukaemic blast cells obtained from eight children on 11 occasions. The test depends upon the per cent survival of the leukaemic cells during short‐term culture when exposed to appropriate concentrations of Daunorubicin, Vincristine and Prednisolone, singly or in combination. The in‐vitro results showed a satisfactory correlation with the subsequent in‐vivo tumoricidal effect of Daunorubicin in combination with Vincristine, and would appear to have practical predictive value for selecting drug therapy for such patients.
