We describe a sclerodermatous syndrome in a middle‐aged man wbo bad worked witb a wide variety of organic solvents over a prolonged period. Associated cbanges included cold sensitivity, a restrictive lung defect, peripberal neuropatby, oesopbageal dysfunction, labile bypertension and a monoclonal paraproteinaemia. Tbis unique syndrome is discussed in relation to otber disorders associated witb exposure to organic solvents.
