Summary The effect of topical PUVA was investigated in the treatment of patients with persistent palmoplantar pustulosis (PPP). In this double‐blind, placebo‐controlled trial of 27 patients with PPP there was an overall improvement of the hands and feet in both the active and placebo‐treated areas and little difference between them.
