SUMMARY Severe psoriasis is commonly associated with depression and may be its cause. The hazards of treating such patients with lithium are well known (Lazarus & Gilgor, 1979), but other drugs may also destabilize psoriasis. We report a patient in whom the anti‐depressant trazodone hydrochloride (Molipaxin®, Roussel), a serotonin antagonist, provoked generalized pustular psoriasis (GPP).
