SUMMARY Lymphangioma circumscriptum (LC) is usually treated by excision. Radiotherapy is not considered suitable primary treatment (Kinmonth, 1972). We report a case which was treated by superficial X‐rays with almost complete regression. Regression was very slow. Reviewing the literature we discovered that X‐ray therapy has never been properly tested for treating this condition. We conclude that this modality of treatment is rational, effective and warrants further testing.
