SUMMARY The frequency of HLA‐A‐A and ‐B antigens in fifty‐nine patients with localized granuloma annulare was compared with the frequency in 200 blood donors. The frequencies of HLA‐A29, ‐B14 and ‐B15 were increased significantly in the patient group, the increase of HLA‐A29 remaining significant after correction for the number of antigens compared.
