SUMMARY The effect of weekly methotrexate treatment (5 to 25 mg orally) was studied in three patients with lymphomatoid papulosis. In all three patients a good clinical effect was obtained. Skin biopsies revealed no sign of lymphomatoid papulosis after treatment. Methotrexate appears to be effective in controlling lymphomatoid papulosis and is possibly superior to PUVA in this respect.
