SUMMARY A 42‐year‐old man is described with progressive scleromyxoedema. Clinical features included the development of transient central nervous system symptoms and a 5‐year delay before the appearance of an IgG lambda‐chain paraprotetnaemia. Electron beam therapy resulted in significant improvement which lasted for 18 months.
