SUMMARY A 22‐year‐old female and a 60‐year‐old male suddenly developed perioral erythematous infiltration with multiple papular and pustular lesions similar to acne conglobata. Many colonies of Candida albicans were cultured from pustules prior to systemic treatment with antibiotics and topical anticandidal treatment. After healing of the lesions with some scarring, Candida albicans could not be cultured.
