SUMMARY A case of systemic mastocytosis is described, characterized by the severity of its cutaneous manifestations (diffuse encephaloid pachydermia, numerous skin tumours reminiscent of molluscum fibrosum, and large comedones) associated with gastro‐intestinal disturbances and high blood histamine values but running a benign clinical course.
