SUMMARY Measurements have been made of the anatomical distribution of ultraviolet radiation resulting from the irradiation of an inanimate manikin in a PUVA 6000 unit and a PUVA 4000 unit. The dosimeter used was phenothiazine film. The results indicated a very similar pattern of relative UV dose on the surface of the manikin from both units.
