SUMMARY A woman, aged 58 years, suddenly developed a widespread sterile pustular and purpuric eruption after a streptococcal infection. The eruption resolved spontaneously within a few weeks. Histopathology showed an intra‐epidermal pustule with underlying leukocytoclastic vasoilitis. The cutaneous vasculitis in this patient presented as a true pustular bacterid.
