SUMMARY Infectious mononucleosis may rarely be associated with various patterns of skin eruptions (2‐3%). A case is described of a female aged 15 with proven infectious mononucleosis and papular erythema multiforme, unassociated with previous drug therapy. This pattern of reaction can be added to the list of viral infections already known to be associated with erythema multiforme.
