SUMMARY A double blind study has shown no statistical difference between the clinical response of fifty atopic eczema patients to topical treatment with 1% hydrocortisone in a stabilized 10% urea cream (Calmurid HC) and a 0.1% betamethasone 17‐valerate cream (Betnovate).
