SUMMARY Five cases of cutaneous schistosomlasis are described with lesions on the trunk. A histological picture resembling granuloma annulare was seen, whose interpretation was clarified by finding schistosome ova in the areas of necrobiosis. Some interpretations for these aberrant cases are offered.
