Summary.— Oral trimethylpsoralen was given to 12 children with different clinical types of vitiligo in a dosage of 5–10 mg daily, followed by exposure to sunlight. The response to this therapy was favourable. Vitiligo areata responded the best as compared to the other types. No cutaneous or systemic side effects were seen. Trimethylpsoralen is therefore recommended for the treatment of vitiligo in children.
