SUMMARY.— Six patients with acne vulgaris were given oral fenfluramine. There was no clinical improvement in the acne vulgaris. The sebum excretion rate and skin surface lipid composition were also investigated. There were no significant changes in either the sebum excretion rate or sebum biochemistry after 1, 2 and 3 months of therapy.
