SUMMARY.— After a brief review of the anti‐allergic and anti‐inflammatory properties of E‐ACA, the therapeutic results of E‐ACA in atopic dermatitis, anetoderma of Jadassohn and cold urticaria are reported. Among 21 patients with atopic dermatitis, 2 failed to return, 2 discontinued treatment on account of nausea, 9 responded favourably, and 5 showed only a fair response. Two patients showed no improvement. Eleven patients, with chronic atopic dermatitis, under corticosteroid therapy, were weaned off corticosteroids and treated with E‐ACA and gave a favourable response. A patient with anetoderma showed complete remission of the disease 4 years after discontinuing therapy. The patient with cold urticaria was relieved to such a degree during therapy that, during freezing temperature, outdoor life was tolerable.
