SUMMARY.– A case of multiple nodules of the left ear clinically misdiagnosed as granuloma faciale was found to show the histological features characteristic of subcutaneous angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia as described by Wells and Whimster (1969). It is suggested that subcutaneous angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia and pseudopyogenic granuloma, as described by Wilson Jones and Bleehen (1969), could represent the same disease process taking place at different tissue levels.
