SUMMARY Plasma concentrations of griseofulvin have been measured in 10 healthy volunteers to compare the effects of substituting a single daily dose of 500 mg. for a divided dose regimen of 125 mg. 4 times daily. After 14 days treatment no significant difference was observed in the plasma levels from either dose routine. It is concluded, therefore, that medication with griseofulvin can be simplified to single daily doses of 500 mg. and that there should be no loss of efficacy as a result.
