SUMMARY.— Erythrasma of axillae, groins and feet was treated in a double blind controlled trial. The following preparations were used and are given in order of effectiveness; Whitfield's ointment, framycetin ointment, erythromycin, oxytetracycline and Tinaderm. A placebo was ineffective.
