SUMMARY. The epidemic spread of a streptococcus through the wards of a skin hospital is described. Nineteen patients had lesions infected with a Group A Type T 8/25/Imp 19 streptococcus resistant to tetracycline and neomycin. Five skin or nasal carriers were also detected.
