SUMMARY.— Some points of interest are discussed from studies of 4 more cases of acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis, including the histology of a very early lesion. The belated recognition of similar microscopical appearances in a striking, localized lesion on a lady's face led to her successful treatment. It is suggested that this lesion may have been the result of a localized immune reaction similar to that occuring over wide areas in acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis.
