Summary An hypothesis advanced in 1970 concerning family inheritance of low enzymic activities of plasma cholinesterase has been substantiated. The recognition of three E 1 k E 1 S genotypes is reported in this family after investigation of a new generation. A second family with similar genetic characteristics is described.
